Space sponsorship is, seemingly, everywhere. The rollout of Zero-Gravity Corporation, which offers $3,000 aircraft flights that create weightless conditions by repeatedly causing the plane to dive at a set rate, was sponsored by Diet Rite in a ‘’Go for Zero’’ tour. (Zero calories—get it?)

‘’It’s the creep of advertising into every nook and cranny of our lives and culture and even space,’’ said Gary Ruskin, the head of Commercial Alert, a nonprofit group that counters what he calls ‘’the more noxious aspects of our commercial culture.’’
