Australia: State schools aim at quick buck by slipping advertising leaflets to students

BUSINESSES are paying state schools to slip advertising leaflets to students in a practice condemned by parents and experts.
Primary schools have admitted to making a quick buck handing out flyers, coupons and tickets to students in exchange for a fee.
The controversial commercial practice has been condoned by Education Minister Cameron Dick who said he is “comfortable” with schools making those decisions.
