City Supports Selling Ads on School Buses

Cranston school buses might soon carry commercial messages as well as schoolchildren.
The City Council last night approved a resolution calling upon the state General Assembly to pass enabling legislation that would give the school district permission to sell advertising space on and inside their fleet of school buses.
