Flagler officials ponder selling ads on school property

Facing steep cuts in state funds, Flagler County schools may be turning to another revenue source.
The School Board will consider allowing more advertising on school property to support its programs. The regular meeting starts at 6 tonight at the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd.
The policy changes would enable the district and schools to allow advertising on websites, newsletters, newspapers, school supplies, clothing, school signs, uniforms and other venues.
