Yes, companies have even tried to put ads on police cars….
Government Acquisitions LLC tried to take advantage of local government budget shortfalls in order to turn police cars into rolling billboards.
As far as we know, they have not put a single police car on the streets with advertisements.
Police cars emblazoned with ads would have made police objects of ridicule and scorn and may invite crime, by reducing the moral authority of the police.
