Call to Arms to Retain Name at a Garden State Rest Stop

Molly Pitcher is in trouble, boys and girls. This documented American hero, who replaced her wounded husband during the battle of Monmouth in 1778, just might be banished from the New Jersey Turnpike in another outbreak of the naming-rights blight. Like hemlock disease, naming rights have obliterated honorable local names like Jack Murphy Stadium and Candlestick Park in favor of geeky-sounding corporations.
